The Hotel Dogs Cats “Le Pouillou”, situated in the “Causse” of Montvalent, between Martel, Gramat and Rocamadour offers a true vacation for your domestic pet.

It is a veritable haven of peace for dogs who have the run of an enclosure, more than 1000 square metres of verdant countryside.

Under the watchful eye of the hotel’s affable owner, Jean-Michel, dogs wander about three times a day to play and to exercise. And those dogs with a love of water have at their disposal a fine swimming pool.

To enhance the calm and serene stay of this beautiful setting each stall is soothed by the gentle tones of classical music.

Each cat is housed in its own private stall; above, in the mezzanine, is a cosy area to sleep undisturbed. Each morning the stall door opens into an enclosed garden where, not far way, chickens, ducks and other winged creatures wade in the gentle waters of the hotel pond.

All dogs and cats are fully inspected by the hotel’s veterinary surgeon to ensure a healthy animal.

Time is money, do not waste your time to have your pet revaccinated or to bring him to the “beauty saloon”. The Hôtel Chiens Chats “Le Pouillou” takes care of all these services.

Practical Informations

At the "LE POUILLOU Hôtel Chiens Chats ", your pets are made welcome all year round, everyday of the week and any time of the day. Reservations and appointments are required.
The hotel has 22 individual stalls for dogs (7 sqm) and 8 stalls for cats and all stalls are heated during winter.

An extra fee will be charged for arrivals or departures on Sundays or holidays.
We can pick up and deliver your animal in our specially-equipped vehicle.

When bringing your pet, please remember health and vaccination certificates as well as all current veterinary prescriptions or medicines. Sunday Closed
